Known for his unique level of perfectionism, engineer Alex Saltz has a no compromise approach to mastering. Sufficient time and scrutiny goes into each job and it's why our clients come back.

Alex developed his passion for music as a teen in the 80's. As an avid drummer and audio aficionado, he studied music, sound engineering and communication design at S.U.N.Y. Fredonia and Parsons School of Design.

Audio work and drumming ensued in Broadway theater productions, film, TV and dozens of studios including Laughing Boys Recording, Sorcerer Sound, Westrax Studios, Pilot Recording, East Side Sound and Masterdisk.

With varied experiences as a musician and sound engineer, and high standards for fidelity, Alex established APS Mastering in 1996. Since then, he has focused on the integrity of his work and has built lasting relationships with his clients.
